Visual To-Do List

I was going to do some decoupage tomorrow, in an attempt to possibly replicate a John Derian lamp I realllllly like. (the coral one, on top? see it? so cool.) But my last minute trip to Chicago and the fact that my artist friend who was going to show me the ropes is moving in, oh, 4 days, has brought the project to a halt.

I've decided I'm going to try to use my free time more wisely though, and to pursue some solo art projects and other adventures that I've been thinking about for awhile. Just as a reminder to myself, here's a list of things I would do/want to do/keep putting off until or if ever/when I find some free time :)

-Decoupage lamp
-Series of animals morphing into musical instruments (or are the instruments morphing into animals...)
-Go to this, the MET costume institute
-Go to the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. This place is SO close to me and I've never been

-Sketch more in parks, I did this a lot when I lived right on Washington Square Park
-Play more piano, try to write new songs (something I did when I had a keyboard, must get back keyboard from
gentleman in Astoria)
-Stencil my white lampshade to replicate an Anthropologie one -- Done now!
Does anyone else keep an on-going to-do list? I'm curious to know what you'd do if you had more free time...any great project ideas or outtings that you just never seem to get done?

Ha! Love it. Especially the unicycle. I've ridden one before and it is no easy task.
