Spicy Sweet Potatoes and Garlic Chicken

Sweet potatoes boiled, mashed, mixed with butter, jalapeƱos, and bananas is quite delicious!

I realize I've been talking about food a lot. It's mainly because here has been my schedule for the past week, and presumably for the next few months:
1. Wake up at 7.
2. Go to class an hour away
3. Stay on campus until 5pm
4. Get home by 6:30
5. Cook
6. Homework
7. Bed by 10:30
I don't have as much time as I'd like to look for new clothes, or the art I'm trying to find for above my bed. I'm really looking forward to an office job at this point where I can have some computer time, how silly is that?!

What time is your bedtime?

I have to admit I'm a bit envious - I wish I could cook, but I'm stuck in a dorm w/out a kitchen...although, I don't have to get up at 7 and go to school an hour away, so..... - cute blog!

I know how you feel not having much computer time, even though I work in an office all day our internet use is monitored which makes it hard. My bedtime is now around midnight! No wonder I am so tired!
Another yum looking dinner too by the way.

Oooh looks so yummy! Almost lunchtime here. I have a sucky office job, and can goof off, the boss lets me surf when it's slow (luckily I work fast and efficiently). Great perk.

I am really impressed that you find time to cook. There just aren't enough hours in the day, or days in the week, or time.... Like most Americans, my life is hectic, I'm exhausted and I have very little time off.

Here's my schedule:

7:00 drag ass out of bed, shower, if lucky put on makeup
8:30 leave for Starbucks
9:00 arrive to work, sometimes lunch sometimes not
5:30 - 7:00 leave work
7:30 arrive home, eat some junk, too lazy to cook
8:00 try to make art or write, return phone calls or clean apartment or get clothes ready for next day
10:30 - 11:00 pass out

It's a glamorous life, but someone's gotta do it.

P.S. - You're probably too busy. But I really would appreciate the recipe, if you can write it for someone who is completely inept in the kitchen.

Thanks for the recipe and checking out my blog! Hope I didn't sound too whiny. Sometimes it's hard to tell if humor comes through in this media or not.
