Trendy or Silly?

I keep seeing these plaid jackets and thinking how cute they are in a refined punk/grunge kind of way. Is this just a trend, or is this a coat I will be able to wear for a few years?From U.O.

I think plaid has a timeless quality even though it may be a little more trendy right now. I love the jacket.

I agree that there is a lasting look to it. I looked at a purple coat yesterday and wondered the same thing. I think if the cut is flattering to you, you'll be more likely to wear the coat for several years.

I LOVE this, but am thinking you'll get two seasons out of it. MAYBE three, if you're lucky.

But I love it just the same. And at the U.O. price, two seasons just may be worth it! :)

Personally I love, especially that coat in the photograph, so smart. I like that it can look cute, but then edgy as well if you change a few accessories.
