Open Sesame
I really have a thing for open shelving in kitchens. My sister, who's moving in November, asked me if I'd help her with kitchen decorating ideas and the first thing I said was "open shelves!" She had no idea what i was even talking about. These are like music genres:country, metal, kitchy, and modern.

I love these too. But I have a thing about dust etc so I think they would drive me crazy. But they look so good! But the dust. But they look SOOO good! See the predicament I have?
Sarah you are totally right about the dust, and I had not even thought about that. Maybe just a small shelf with some key items would be ok.
